Sustainable Sprout

I was lucky enough to start working with Sustainable sprout from the beginning. Together we worked on developing a logo, as well as a look and feel for the seed packets. Initially only available on Amazon, they really wanted a style that would stand out against the competition. I developed this style of custom illustration that used a heavy black outline and bold fills of colour reminiscent of a lino-block cut. Placing the illustration on a light paper texture also allowed me to use white fills as a way to add subtle highlights.

Currently I have illustrated 65 unique seed packets that make up 12 different themed kits. In addition, I’ve designed small informational magnets to accompany certain kits, as well as a 22 page seed starting guide.
