Gads6y Singles
While working under art direction at Context Creative, I had the opportunity to work with Gads6y on the artwork for some of his singles. This specific set of three were supposed to work together, and so they share a lot of the same visual language. Gads6y had requested the art focus on a single item relating to each track. I digitally painted the items, and applied them across various static tactics, as well as animated them in Adobe After Effects. Using various techniques I created looping animations that could be used for shorter teaser videos, or to the full length videos.
In addition to the set of three singles, I also created a few lyric videos for Gads6y. He had shared inspirations of lyric videos by other artists that use a looping video behind the text as it animated on screen. I came up with concepts, and presented him with stock video options. I altered the video, animated the type, and cut it all together creating a sense of looping, without having abrupt cuts making it obvious the video has looped.
